Ruth Arziel, Author

The character and illustration development process was a joyful and inspiring experience, marked by precision and deep connection to the story. The work was organized, calm, and attentive, and reader responses were excellent—the cover speaks for itself and has clearly contributed to the book’s success.

Revaya Keysar, Author and emotional therapist

I was deeply moved by Shalhevetya’s exceptional talent and the precision of her delicate, calming illustrations, which received so much positive and heartwarming feedback.
The entire process was accompanied by kind, dedicated, and patient service, professional and fair guidance, and a genuine sense of listening that created a safe and supportive space for creative growth.

Einav Milo, Publishing editor

Shalhevetya is our most in-demand children’s book illustrator. Most of the books published here pass through her hands in one way or another—cover design, illustration, or layout—and not by chance. It’s rare to find someone so professional, precise, and genuinely pleasant to work with.

Shalhevetya Zis -illustrator for kids and youth.

I create from the heart, tailoring each project to the unique style and tone it needs.

My work focuses mainly on illustration for children. I especially love illustrating kids and animals, inspired by nature, plants, and the small details of everyday life.

I illustrate children’s books, cards, games, educational materials, and classic-style animations. I also design home goods and teach art.

I work in a variety of techniques, including digital illustration, watercolor, ink, acrylic, paper-based art, and mixed media—always exploring new materials and approaches.

I hold a B.Ed. in Art and Graphic Design, and I completed a Classical Animation certificate at IAC College (The Israeli College of Animation). I’m constantly learning, evolving, and expanding my creative tools.

Alongside my illustration work, I run drawing classes and creative workshops for children and adults—fun, supportive sessions that build confidence, creativity, and personal style.

If you’re looking for an illustrator for a children’s book, a unique gift, or any other creative project, I’d love to hear from you.
Feel free to explore my portfolio—and let’s create something special together.
